KARACHI – A fresh police report submitted to an Additional District and Sessions Judge (South) in the cases of inter-provincial drug accused Anmol alias Pinky has revealed new allegations regarding an alleged network operating around educational institutions, along with details of recovered narcotics and related material. The report submitted to the court revealed that Pinky allegedly used a group network that targeted school-going children. It further revealed that the syndicate supplied drugs to upscale residential areas and private educational institutions. The report also pointed out that individuals placing larger orders within schools and colleges were offered discounted rates. Police officials maintained that further investigation is required to identify facilitators allegedly operating within educational institutions as part of the network linked to the accused. It added that, on the basis of the accused’s identification, efforts are underway to trace and determine the involvement of her alleged associates within academic institutions. The court has taken the police report on record. In a separate submission, police also presented a recovery report detailing narcotics and other substances allegedly seized from the accused. As per the report, law enforcement officials recovered 1,540 grams of cocaine, 5,240 grams of baking powder, 930 grams of ephedrine hydrochloride, 500 grams of ketamine hydrochloride, and 330 grams of cocaine-mixed hydrochloride. The report further mentioned the recovery of 1,050 grams of acetone from a bag, along with 6,970 grams of raw material allegedly used in the preparation of cocaine. The officials said the chemical examination of the seized material would be conducted, and the findings would be submitted to the court.
