The company said Thursday that the Cash App Wand is the first of multiple new styles of physical payment accessories called Cash App Tags. The $25 near-field communication-enabled product is made for on-the-go payments and is only for Cash App Visa Card holders.

A limited run of the Cash App Wand is available to buy in the app for eligible customers ages 13 and up. In a statement, Thomas Templeton, hardware lead at Cash App owner Block, said the Wand is one of "nearly limitless" designs and a starting point for Cash App Tags.
