Pakistan qualify for Asian Doubles Squash Championship quarter-finals

KUALA LUMPUR – Pakistan qualified for the quarter-finals of the Asian Doubles Squash Championship after registering impressive victories against India and Hong Kong in the group-stage matches. The Pakistani pair of Noor Zaman and Nasir Iqbal defeated India’s Rahul Baitha and Suraj Kumar in straight games, winning 2-0 to secure a place in the knockout stage. In another match, Muhammad Hamza Khan and Muhammad Asim Khan also advanced to the quarter-finals after overcoming their Hong Kong opponents 2-0. With the victories, both Pakistani teams booked their spots in the last eight of the tournament. The quarter-final matches of the Asian Doubles Squash Championship are scheduled to be played in Sarawak, Malaysia, on Friday.
