LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday confirmed that Hyderabad Kingsmen fast bowler Mohammad Ali has been fined for breaching HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 Code of Conduct during PSL 11. The board said the right-arm pacer was found guilty of violating Article 2.21 of the PSL Code of Conduct, which relates to behaviour that can bring the game into disrepute. The offence falls under a Level 1 breach. As a result, Mohammad Ali was fined 10 percent of his match fee. The incident took place during the 16th over of Islamabad United’s innings in the Eliminator 2 clash against Hyderabad Kingsmen, when Ali was involved in a heated exchange with batter Mark Chapman. On-field umpires Ahsan Raza and Shahid Saikat intervened to defuse the situation. The PCB stated that the player admitted to the offence, which meant there was no need for a formal hearing. Match referee Roshan Mahnama imposed the sanction after reviewing the incident. Despite the disciplinary action, Mohammad Ali has remained one of the standout performers for the Kingsmen in their debut PSL season. The pacer has taken 17 wickets in 11 innings at an average of 20.05, placing him among the top wicket-takers in PSL 11. He currently stands third on the list, which is led by Peshawar Zalmi’s Sufiyan Muqeem with 21 wickets in fewer matches. PSL Final 2026: Hyderabad Kingsmen vs Peshawar Zalmi in Lahore Tomorrow
