DG ISPR engages Youth on Counterterrorism, Fake News, and Hybrid Warfare in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Director General (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry attended a session at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University Islamabad where he briefed students and faculty on pressing national security challenges. During the special interactive session, ISPR chief presented an extensive and detailed briefing on Pakistan’s evolving national security challenges, with a sharp focus on counterterrorism operations, information warfare, fake news proliferation, hybrid warfare tactics, and the rapidly growing influence of social media-driven narratives in shaping public perception. The session quickly transformed into a dynamic question-and-answer exchange as students actively participated, raising critical and insightful questions on national affairs, digital propaganda, and the complex security environment facing the country.
