Pakistan, Bangladesh agree to strengthen cooperation against drug trafficking

DHAKA – Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Bangladesh Interior Minister Salahuddin Ahmed in Dhaka, where both sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of internal security, counter-narcotics operations and law enforcement training. During the meeting, both ministers agreed to establish a secretary-level Joint Working Group between the interior ministries of the two countries to institutionalise coordination on key security matters.
