Iran launches ‘Operation Nasr’ against Israel, warns of round-the-clock attacks for 7 days

TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the start of a new military campaign named “Operation Nasr,” in response to Israeli aggression. According to the IRGC’s statement, its Aerospace Force targeted key facilities at the Nevatim and Tel Nof air bases, which it described as among Israel’s most important military sites. The operation was reportedly carried out early Monday morning. The IRGC said the action was conducted in response to continued Israeli military activity, including recent missile strikes on Iranian radar installations at multiple locations. “Waves of missiles and drones will continue to be launched around the clock for the next seven days until the enemy is deterred and ceases its crimes,” it warned The operation was dedicated to the memory of those referred to as martyrs of a recent 12-day conflict and was executed under the code phrase “Ya Heydar Karrar,” according to the statement. The group further added that the strikes were a direct reaction to what it called ongoing Israeli aggression, escalating tensions between the two sides. “With trust in Almighty God, minutes ago the brave fighters of the IRGC Aerospace Force launched Operation Nasr, targeting key centres of the strategic air bases of Nevatim and Tel Nof,” the statement read, Tehran stated that it had previously issued warnings to Israel against carrying out attacks in Lebanon and urged that all strikes on Beirut be halted immediately.
