Revenue from both product sales and cloud operations flows back to Nvidia under the arrangement, as AI cloud companies provide Nvidia-powered services to their end customers. Kress, writing in a blog post according to Bloomberg, called the resulting income a "recurring, usage-linked earnings stream" for Nvidia; on the customer side, she said the model removes the need to navigate site selection, power procurement, construction, and hardware bring-up before accessing large-scale compute.

Token credits are also part of the offering, giving startups a way to access compute resources without upfront capital outlays.
