ISLAMABAD – Pakistan will mark the first anniversary of ‘Marka-e-Haq’ on Sunday (May 10) with celebrations reflecting patriotism, national unity, and enthusiasm across the country. The main event will take place at the historic Pakistan Monument in Shakarparian, Islamabad. Although events and special activities began nationwide on May 1, the central ceremony on May 10 will be the largest and most prominent. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff & Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir are expected to deliver special addresses during the event. The Pakistan Monument has been illuminated with green lights, with national flags and banners adorning the surrounding areas. A specially designed stage equipped with modern digital screens has also been prepared. The Pakistan Air Force will perform an aerial display, while laser shows and patriotic songs will energize attendees. The armed forces and citizens from all walks of life are participating with great enthusiasm.
