Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said he arrived in Tehran carrying special messages from Pakistan’s political and military leadership for Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Naqvi’s visit comes at a time of renewed friction between Washington and Tehran, with recent retaliatory attacks raising concerns over the stability of the ceasefire that has been in effect since April 8. On reaching Tehran, the interior minister was welcomed by his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momeni.
