Now the company’s top model takes a new evolutionary step, entering the fully electric era as the 2027 Range Rover EV. While it looks nearly identical to the gas-powered Range Rover SUV, the electric variant is said to be powered by multiple electric motors and the company says this powertrain will at least match the performance of the gas-powered V-8 model. Land Rover may have developed a four-motor setup with individual wheel control similar to what has debuted on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class EV, but we won't know more until closer to the SUV's on-sale date.
