RAWALPINDI – A book highlighting a historic Pakistan Army operation titled “Rescuing the US Rangers” has been officially presented to the public for the first time at the Army Institute of Military History. A formal ceremony was held in which army veterans, educators, prominent personalities, and members of the public attended in large numbers. Written by author Sarmad Zia, the book focuses on a key military operation in Mogadishu, Somalia, where Pakistani forces played a significant role in a rescue mission during the early 1990s.
