Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met US Vice President JD Vance ahead of the high-level US–Iran talks scheduled for Sunday in Bürgenstock, Switzerland. The meeting comes ahead of what is expected to be the first formal engagement between Washington and Tehran following the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
