ISLAMABAD – The Annual Planning Coordination Committee (APCC) is scheduled to meet on Monday to finalize recommendations for the federal development budget and annual economic plan for fiscal year 2026-27, with the agenda for the session already prepared, the official sources said. The committee will review proposals for next year’s development budget and assess the performance and utilization of development funds during the outgoing fiscal year. Development allocations for all federal ministries and divisions will also be examined in detail. The officials from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and the State Bank of Pakistan are expected to present their assessments and recommendations during the meeting. Sources said the Ministry of Finance has proposed allocating Rs1.126 trillion for the federal Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) in FY2026-27. According to sources, the economic growth target is likely to be set at 4 percent or higher.
