ISLAMABAD – The leadership of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee was acting in line with what they described as an Indian agenda, the security sources said while citing a senior official on Friday. The official said Pakistan and its people had never been intimidated by India and would continue to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and national interests. He made these remarks during a detailed briefing with media influencers on regional security and Pakistan-India relations on Friday. The security sources said that India is attempting to create instability in Pakistan and the wider region to divert attention from its domestic challenges.
