KARACHI – For years, government employees in Sindh faced uncertainty over when their salaries would actually arrive, often waiting days beyond the official payment date. Amid shift at ending those delays, the provincial government introduced new payment schedule that will see salaries credited on the 25th of every month and pensions on the 26th, offering thousands of families greater financial certainty and relief amid rising living costs. The reform, introduced in coordination with the Accountant General (AG) Sindh, is being hailed as one of the most significant administrative changes in recent years. Under revised schedule, government employees will now receive their salaries on the 25th of every month instead of waiting until the 1st.
