LAHORE – The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has announced a gas supply schedule for the Eidul Azha 2026 holidays to facilitate consumers. According to a company spokesperson, gas will be available on the first day of Eid from 5:00 am until 11:00 pm to ensure smooth household usage during peak demand. For the second and third days of Eid, gas supply will be provided from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, the spokesperson added. The company said the revised timings aim to support domestic consumers during festive cooking requirements and manage system demand more efficiently over the holiday period. SNGPL provides natural gas transmission and distribution services across North-Central Pakistan, specifically serving the regions of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). Earlier, Sui Southern Gas Company announced special Eid ul Azha schedule, offering extended hours of gas availability for cooking and household needs, with brief night shutdowns to manage system pressure before returning to the normal load-shedding routine after the holidays. Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) shared gas supply schedule for residents of port city during Eid-ul-Azha to ensure improved availability for domestic and commercial consumers during the festive period. According to announcement, gas supply will be managed in controlled manner with temporary suspensions at specific hours to maintain system pressure and operational stability, while extended supply windows will be provided on key Eid days to facilitate public convenience. On Tuesday, May 26 (Chaand Raat), gas supply will be temporarily suspended at 12:00 midnight and restored at 3:00 AM. The company stated that the brief shutdown is necessary for system adjustments and pressure balancing ahead of Eid.
