French telecom operators extend talks over takeover of SFR mobile

French telecoms group Altice said discussions had been extended to June 5, but added there was 'no certainty' a deal would be reached. In mid-April, Bouygues Telecom, Orange and Free had submitted a new offer for SFR, France's second-largest mobile operator, valuing it at €20.4 billion.
