Meezan Bank VISA ATM card new charges from July 2026

LAHORE – Meezan Bank has released an updated schedule of charges for the period of 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026. The private banks used to issued the schedule of charges twice a year and it carries details of fees received by banks against various services. Meezan Bank receives certain charges and annual fees in wake of issuance of ATM Debit cards of VISA category. Debit Card Charges Under the new structure, the Meezan VISA Debit Card fees are set as follows: Classic Card – Rs3,500 issuance and annual fee; Gold Card – Rs 4,500 for both; Platinum Card – Rs 10,000 each; and Infinite Card – Rs 45,000 for issuance and annual charges. Specialized cards include the Women First Card with a Rs 500 issuance fee and Rs 3,500 annual fee, while the Kids & Teens Card will have no issuance fee and an annual fee of Rs 1,250. The Student Card remains free of both issuance and annual charges. Meezan Bank said the revised fees are part of its ongoing efforts to provide transparent and competitive banking services to its customers. The service charges mentioned in this schedule are for various types of valid / compensatory services rendered by the bank on different transactions. As per the guidance of bank’s Shariah Supervisory Board, it is not allowed to charge a fee/commission merely against issuance of any financial commitment or guarantee, as these commitments are Uqood–e- Ghair Muawada or non-compensatory in nature. However, it is allowed to charge a fee, if additional related services are also rendered/ performed by the bank.
