Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence said that its armed forces destroyed 13 ballistic missiles and 17 drones during Iranian attacks early Wednesday morning. State news agency Kuwait News reported that Defence Ministry spokesman Saud Abdulaziz al-Atwan said the missiles were brought down inside Kuwaiti airspace, including above residential areas, causing debris to fall in some locations. He claimed the attacks targeted civilian infrastructure, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in the death of an Indian citizen, multiple injuries, and significant material damage. Earlier in the day, both Kuwait and Bahrain announced that they had been targeted in drone and missile attacks. Iran later confirmed carrying out the strikes, describing them as retaliation against American military bases and helicopters in the region. Kuwait’s Ministry of Health said at least 63 people, including airport employees and passengers, were injured in the attack on Kuwait International Airport. Earlier, the Foreign Ministry had confirmed one fatality linked to the incident. Trump confirms tense call with Netanyahu over Lebanon conflict
