The conflict erupted on 7 May 2025, when India carried out missile strikes on Pakistani territory, resulting in 31 fatalities and injuring 57 civilians, including women and children. In response, the Pakistan Armed Forces launched a coordinated military operation targeting multiple Indian military sites and infrastructure. The hostilities came to an end following a ceasefire mediated by the United States, marking the conclusion of the operation.
