ISLAMABAD – Results of 17 out of 24 constituencies in Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly elections shows closely contested political race with no single party in clear dominance. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has emerged as the leading party with 7 seats, followed by independent candidates securing 5 seats, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) winning 4 seats, and the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) taking 1 seat.
