Gilgit-Baltistan GB Election 2026 Results

ISLAMABAD – Results of 17 out of 24 constituencies in Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly elections shows closely contested political race with no single party in clear dominance. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has emerged as the leading party with 7 seats, followed by independent candidates securing 5 seats, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) winning 4 seats, and the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) taking 1 seat. In GB-7 (Skardu-I), PPP’s Taqeer Mehdi Shah won with 4,320 votes, while GB-8 (Skardu-II) went to MWM’s Kazim Meesam with 10,658 votes. PPP further strengthened its position with victories in GB-10 (Skardu-IV), GB-11 (Kharmang), and GB-12 (Shigar), where Nasir Ali Khan, Iqbal Hussain, and Imran Nadeem secured 6,582, 5,944, and 12,944 votes, respectively.
