KARACHI – The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan on Tuesday dropped by Rs4,100 per tola on Tuesday, bringing the rate down to Rs424,836 amid a decline in international bullion prices. All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the sharp decrease follows a downward trend in global gold markets. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,515 to Rs364,228. In the international market, gold prices declined by $41 per ounce, with the precious metal trading at $4,024 per ounce. The decline in domestic gold prices reflects the fall in global bullion rates.
