A prestigious award distribution ceremony for the national essay writing competition titled “Un k Naqsh-e-Qadam Par” was held in Islamabad to mark the 1500th anniversary of the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in this world, bringing together ministers, diplomats, religious scholars, educators and students from across Pakistan. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye Dr. Irfan Neziroglu attended the ceremony alongside distinguished guests, teachers, students and people from various walks of life. According to the announced results, in the middle school category, Umaima Kashan of Islamabad Model College secured first position, followed by Abdur Rafi Qayyum of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges, Lahore, while Noor Ahmed of ACE International Academy, Islamabad, secured third position. In the high school category, Sukaina Ashfaq of Muslim Hands School of Excellence, Islamabad, won first position. Humaira Taj of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges, Islamabad, secured second position, while Muhammad Arsal Zeeshan of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges, Lahore, stood third. Rahmat Nabi Afridi, Yumna Karpuzcu and Maryam Usman were also praised and categorized under ‘Honorable mention.’ The ceremony was jointly organized by the Counselor Office for Religious Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation.
