As this year's redesigned Formula One cars speed around the track in Monaco this weekend, you can catch a glimpse of them in an unlikely place: Apple's Maps app.

During the F1 Monaco Grand Prix happening June 5 to 7, Apple has reactivated its Detailed City Experience for the city of Monte Carlo, which shows the race course, turn markers, grandstands, pit garages and the finish line.

The company built out the view for the 2025 race, and this year made a few changes. The track itself -- which winds directly through the streets and buildings of Monaco -- now appears dark gray instead of light red, and the race cars that appear along the track match the coloring of this year's teams. (They're just there for visual interest, alas -- their placements don't reflect actual race positions.)
