KARACHI – The gold prices in Pakistan on Monday fell sharply at the start of the trading week, tracking a decline in the international bullion market, with the price of 24-karat gold dropping by Rs2,300 per tola and Rs1,972 per 10 grams. The price of 24-karat gold declined to Rs428,936 per tola, while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell to Rs367,743. According to market data, the international price of gold dropped by $23 per ounce, bringing the precious metal’s price down to $4,065 per ounce.
