ISLAMABAD – Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon, has announced establishment of six cattle markets across the capital city for Eidul Adha 2026. In a post shared on X, he wrote that the markets will be operational from 10 May 2026 (Sunday). He also shared the locations of the markets so the people can navigate to the locations easily. Location of Islamabad Cattle Markets 2026 The six markets will be established at the following locations: Japan Road Zia Mosque Lehtrar Road near Sultana Foundation I-12 Sector Sangjani Barah Kahu The DC Islamabad has ordered the strict implementation of the parking, sanitation, and security arrangements at all markets. Officials have assured that any grievances about charges above the approved rates will be dealt with promptly. A magistrate will be present at each market throughout its operating hours. To maintain proper traffic movement, authorities will work closely with the traffic police to manage roads surrounding the markets. Additionally, strict rules will be applied to prohibit the trade of livestock at locations outside the officially designated markets. Eidul Adha 2026 is expected to fall on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, with public holidays likely spanning from May 27–29 (Wednesday–Friday) in Pakistan. However, the final decision will be taken after the sighting of the Zilhaj moon.
