Makkah Mukarramah – Wearing Ehram, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday reached Mina and visited the Pakistani pilgrims’ camps there. The interior minister reviewed arrangements and facilities being provided to Hajj pilgrims, said the spokesperson. During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi inspected different camps and met pilgrims, particularly elderly pilgrims, to inquire about their well-being and the facilities available to them. The minister also met a 100-year-old pilgrim and praised his determination and spirit. He asked pilgrims about accommodation, food and other services being provided in the camps. Pilgrims expressed satisfaction over the arrangements, saying that facilities were better this year. Some pilgrims said they had faced minor issues but added that the staff extended full cooperation in resolving them. The interior minister appreciated the efforts of Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf and his team for making arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims. “Every pilgrim is very special to us,” Mohsin Naqvi said, adding that staff members were available to address pilgrims’ problems and ensure their comfort. He also appreciated the Saudi government for providing the facility of completing immigration procedures for Pakistani pilgrims in Pakistan before departure. Mohsin Naqvi thanked Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj for their support and cooperation.
