Pakistan recorded workers’ remittances inflow of $3.5 billion during April 2026. According to the data shared by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Monday, remittances decreased by 7.6 per cent on a month-on-month basis and increased by 11.4 per cent on a year-on-year basis. Cumulatively, workers’ remittances amounted to $ 33.9 billion during July to April 2026, reflecting an increase of 8.5 per cent compared to $ 31.2 billion received during the corresponding period last year. Remittances during April 2026 were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia ($841.7 million), United Arab Emirates ($734.7 million), United Kingdom ($563.7 million) and United States of America ($317.6 million).
