As someone who uses the Charge 6 every day, I especially appreciate its reliability and fast charging. I’ve also found the band stays securely fastened throughout the day, something I couldn’t say about the budget-friendly fitness tracker it replaced. In addition to monitoring activity, sleep, blood oxygen levels, and heart rate, it features an FDA-cleared EKG reader, a feature that’s uncommon on fitness trackers even at the Charge 6’s regular price. Fitbit also upgraded the device with the ability to broadcast your heart rate to compatible gym equipment via Bluetooth, along with a new haptic side button that’s easier to use than the touch-sensitive controls found on earlier models.
