HEC invites applications for GRE training for US scholarships 2026

ISLAMABAD – The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has started receiving applications for GRE (General) training under the US–Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Ph D Scholarship Program. The initiative aims to support outstanding Pakistani and AJK nationals aspiring to pursue doctoral studies in top US universities. Training will be conducted in four major cities: Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, and Lahore. Applicants must have completed 16 years of education and possess a strong academic record. Age limits vary based on employment status: below 40 years for government or public sector faculty, and below 35 years for other applicants. The deadline for applications is June 20, 2026. Trainees who achieve a GRE score of 300 or above may qualify for ETS fee reimbursement and become eligible for scholarship consideration at top QS-ranked universities in the United States. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official registration link. Scholarships are open for Fall 2026 admissions in top 100 QS World Ranked US Universities.
