ISLAMABAD – The Migrant Resource Centre Pakistan has announced that dedicated Airport Reception Desks (ARD) are operating at Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar airports to support Pakistanis returning from abroad under the Reintegration of Returnees Project. According to a message shared on Facebook by the organization, the desks provide immediate assistance to eligible returnees upon arrival, particularly within the first 15 minutes of landing. The initiative is aimed at supporting returning individuals who meet the eligibility criteria defined under the program. These services are available to Pakistani citizens or legal residents who have returned after living abroad for at least three months. Returnees may be either voluntary or deported, provided they meet the required conditions. Free Services for Pakistanis Returning from Abroad Following are the free services offered to the Pakistanis returning from abroad at the three airports: Free food, blanket, shoes and other essential items Issuance of SIM Card in case of holding CNIC Free internet Transport facility to reach home Temporary Accommodation Facility if not possible to reach home at that time Health facility The organization stated that assistance is given to individuals who have experienced difficult circumstances abroad and are looking to restart their lives in Pakistan. Once registered and assessed as eligible, returnees are provided immediate free support or referred to relevant institutions depending on their needs.
