The Escalade IQ is the battery-powered Escalade, but it is not simply the familiar gas–engine Escalade with its V-8 replaced by electric motors and a massive battery pack. The IQ and slightly longer IQL versions are completely different Escalades underneath. The IQ twins have more mechanical commonality with GM's big electric pickups than with their gas-powered namesake. The regular Escalade is really, really big, but the battery-packin' Escalade is humongous—more than a foot longer in standard IQ form, with the IQL several inches longer than that.
