However, the price of silver moved upward in early trading to $76.12 by 7:33 a.m. ET.

After prices mostly edged lower last week, silver prices have room to rise this week, and are off to a decent upward start this morning. It will be interesting to see how the markets respond this morning as we wait for President Trump to officially sign a ceasefire extension between the U.S. and Iran, just as Israel sent more ground troops into Lebanon this weekend, and Hezbollah, a major Iranian ally, reportedly fired hundreds of projectiles at advancing Israeli forces, greatly escalating tensions.
