KARACHI – The gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp increase, mirroring gains in the international bullion market on Monday. The latest rates issued by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) suggested that the price of gold per tola rose by Rs10,800 to reach Rs455,136 in the local market. The price of 10-gram gold also recorded a notable increase of Rs9,720, bringing it to Rs389,600. This follows the previous trading session, when gold per tola stood at Rs444,336 after an increase of Rs4,370 during the day. In the international market, gold prices climbed by $108 per ounce to $4,327, with a premium of $20, reflecting continued bullish sentiment in global bullion trading.
