Qatar’s Ministry of Transport has issued an urgent advisory instructing all owners and operators of maritime vessels — including recreational boats, fishing vessels, jet skis, and other watercraft — to halt sailing and suspend all maritime activities until further notice. The warning, shared through an official statement on X, comes in the wake of Iranian strikes targeting Bahrain and Kuwait on Sunday following actions by the United States. Earlier on Sunday, Qatari authorities confirmed that one citizen aboard a vessel reported missing off the coast was killed after suffering shrapnel injuries caused by ongoing military activity in the area.
