KP Summer Holidays: Schedule notified for plains, upper districts

The Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has officially announced the summer vacation schedule for educational institutions across the province’s plains and upper mountainous districts. According to the notification, summer holidays for primary schools in the plains regions will start on June 1 and continue until August 31, 2026. Meanwhile, middle, high, and higher secondary schools in these areas will observe vacations from June 15 to August 16, 2026. The department also stated that all educational institutions located in the colder upper districts of the province will remain closed from July 1 to July 31, 2026. Officials said the schedule was issued to ensure the smooth and uniform implementation of summer vacations in accordance with the varying weather conditions across different parts of the province.
