KARACHI – The Sindh government has announced the schedule for the release of annual examination results 2026 for Matric and Intermediate students across the province. The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Minister for Universities and Educational Boards, Muhammad Ismail Rahoo. The session was attended by Secretary of Universities, Muhammad Abbas Baloch, and chairpersons of all provincial educational boards. The meeting reviewed the recently completed annual examinations in detail. It has been decided that matric results will be declared by July 10, while Intermediate results are set to be issued by July 31. During the briefing, each board provided updates on examinations conducted in their respective divisions. Minister Rahoo stressed the importance of releasing results on time to ensure students can apply for higher education institutions without delays. He also assured that the government would continue to support educational boards to strengthen transparency, merit, and efficiency in the examination process. Class 9, 11 Results Dates It was reported that results for the 9th and 11th grades will be released by August 31. The meeting also addressed disciplinary actions taken during exams, including the cancellation of duties for underperforming teams in Sukkur Division. In Karachi, several cases were registered for violations of Section 144 during the examination period. Chairperson of the Karachi Division Educational Board, Faqir Muhammad Lakho, informed that Intermediate examinations in Karachi concluded on June 15. Officials emphasized that these measures, combined with the timely release of results, are aimed at ensuring a smooth examination process and facilitating students in planning their academic futures.
