Iran’s military has warned that countries enforcing US sanctions on Tehran could encounter problems while navigating through the Strait of Hormuz. According to the Tasnim news agency, military spokesperson Akrami Nia said any state supporting or implementing Washington’s sanctions against Iran would “definitely face difficulties” in passing through the strategic waterway. Nia also claimed that Iran’s opponents had failed to achieve their goals during the conflict, insisting that the country’s political structure remained stable. He said the war had instead strengthened internal unity and solidarity, pointing to continued public participation in street gatherings. “The enemy realised it could not break this resistance and was eventually compelled to agree to a ceasefire,” he stated. The spokesperson further said that Iran had used the ceasefire period to reinforce its military strength, improve operational capabilities, revise its target lists, and enhance both defensive and offensive positions.
