Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari on Thursday expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Agha Iqbal Ahmad, brother of senior journalist and anchor Iftikhar Ahmad. In a condolence message, the minister extended her heartfelt sympathies to Iftikhar Ahmad and his bereaved family, praying that may Allah Almighty grant them patience, strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. “Brothers are a source of strength and support for one another,” she said, adding that the loss of a sibling is a profound tragedy,” she said. Azma Bokhari conveyed her deepest condolences to the family of the deceased during this difficult time and prayed for the departed soul. She also prayed that may Allah Almighty forgive the late Agha Iqbal Ahmed and grant him eternal peace and a place in His mercy.
