Along with a new Siri and mac OS Golden Gate, Apple announced at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on Monday that its Health app's cycle tracking will support both menopause and perimenopause -- not just ovulation and the menstrual period. In the Health app, you'll now be able to log your symptoms related to menopause and perimenopause. There will also be educational content available to help you expand your knowledge on these topics and learn more about your body.

Every year, about 2 million women enter perimenopause, the phase that occurs before menopause when there's a decline in the hormone estrogen. According to a February 2025 survey including 4,432 participants over 30 years old, over half of women ages 30 to 35 experienced moderate or severe perimenopause symptoms.
