The Birds Eye brand owner has spent £2.2m ($3m) on a new production line at its site in Lowestoft in eastern England.

"As consumers navigate ongoing cost-of-living pressures, we are seeing sustained demand for trusted, great-value, tasty frozen favourites that can be used across a variety of meals. This investment ensures we can continue to meet that demand whilst supporting good food choices for families," Nomad chief supply officer Eduardo Bachiega said.
