PCB issues NOCs to cricketers to take part in overseas T20 leagues

LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to several national cricketers, and allowed them to participate in overseas franchise leagues, including the Global Super League 2026 and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The sources in PCB said that a total of 13 players have been granted NOCs to feature in the Global Super League 2026, enabling them to represent their respective franchises during the tournament. The players who have received clearance include Mohammad Haris, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Naeem, Abdullah Shafique, Farhan Yousaf, Shamyl Hussain, Mehran Mumtaz, Usman Khan, Ali Shabbir, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Basit, and Khalil Ahmed. The PCB regularly issues NOCs to contracted and domestic players after reviewing the domestic and international cricket calendar to ensure that participation in foreign leagues does not clash with Pakistan’s national commitments or scheduled domestic competitions. In a separate development, the board has also granted an NOC to Muaz Sadaqat for participation in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The approval allows the promising cricketer to gain valuable experience by competing alongside some of the world’s leading T20 players.
