I m sorry to say these kind of incursions have been happening at bases all over the United States and overseas. It isn t as widely known as it ought to be, Mellon, a former senior official in the Defense Department, told Elizabeth Vargas Reports on Thursday.

He estimates hundreds of incidents occur annually that baffle military leaders. In one series of events, Mellon said, UAP violated airspace over Langley Air Force Base in Virginia for 17 days straight, prompting officials to move a squadron of jets.
