Management stated that the acquisition complements the company's present immunology portfolio and bolsters its clinical presence in the respiratory space.

(NYSE:ABBV) will acquire all outstanding shares of Apogee for $135.11 per share in cash, with the transaction valuing Apogee at a total equity value of approximately $10.9 billion.
