The transaction will see Space X (NASDAQ:SPCX) subsidiary X67 Inc merge with Anysphere, after which Cursor will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Space X. The company expects the acquisition to close in the third quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

Under the agreement, holders of Cursor s common and preferred shares will receive SpaceX Class A stock.
