Karachi set for landmark 941-foot Burj-e-Quaid tower

KARACHI – A major development for Karachi has emerged as a formal agreement has been signed for the construction of “Burj-e-Quaid,” – a 941 feet tallest tower of Pakistan — marking a new milestone in high-rise development. The agreement has been finalised between DHA City Karachi and ABS Developers, under which work on an 82-storey mega project will begin in the city. Once completed, the tower is expected to become a landmark structure not only for Karachi but for the entire country, representing a shift towards more advanced and globally competitive construction projects in Pakistan’s real estate sector. According to the project details, Burj-e-Quaid will be constructed within DHA City Karachi and will feature a modern architectural design spread over approximately six acres of land. The project has an estimated completion timeline of six years. The Civil Aviation Authority has already issued the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the 941-foot height clearance, allowing construction work to proceed in line with aviation safety regulations. ABS Developers will execute the project under the supervision of international experts and consultants, ensuring compliance with global standards of high-rise construction and urban planning. The officials and developers believe that the project will play a significant role in transforming Karachi’s skyline and promoting modern urban infrastructure in Pakistan. The development is also expected to attract increased investment and boost commercial activity in the city, as large-scale real estate projects continue to expand in Karachi and other urban centres. The planners describe “Burj-e-Quaid” as a symbolic step towards a new era of modern high-rise development in Pakistan, reflecting growing ambitions in architectural innovation and urban growth.
