On the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, I extend heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan and our brave Armed Forces for their courage, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to defending the sovereignty of our beloved homeland. The events of 2025 demonstrated Pakistan’s resilience, unity, and defensive strength. Despite facing immense challenges, Pakistan emerged with honour and dignity, proving that a united nation can overcome every adversity. This historic success will always remain a source of pride for the entire nation. I pay tribute to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for his leadership and diplomatic vision during this critical period. I also salute Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff, for his remarkable leadership and strategic foresight. I further congratulate the leadership and personnel of the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy whose dedication and professionalism strengthened Pakistan’s defence capability. Pakistan’s role has also been commendable in promoting regional peace and stability. Our leadership constructive diplomatic efforts in encouraging dialogue for resolution of conflict between United States and Iran reflect Pakistan’s growing stature as a responsible and peace-loving nation committed to dialogue and stability.
