LAHORE – Honda’s top selling variants CD 70 and CG 125 are expected to witness an increase in their prices from July 2026 when the proposals made by the government in Budget 2026-27 come into effect. The federal government has proposed a two percent increase in the Climate Support Levy, taking it to three percent from 1% on motorcycles. If the proposal is approved, the price of Honda motorcycle and other companies would go up as it would directly impact the invoice price. Current Prices of Honda 70 and 125 Currently, the price of Honda CD 70 stands at Rs159,900 as of June 2026 while Honda CG 125 is priced at Rs238,500 in Pakistan. New Expected Rates from July 2026 If the budget 2026-27 is approved with the proposed increase in climate levy, the Honda CD 70 is likely to rising from its current price of Rs159,900 to an expected new price of Rs163,000, marking an increase of Rs3,100. Meanwhile, the Honda CG 125 is expected to become more expensive, with its price moving up from Rs238,500 to approximately Rs243,000, reflecting an increase of Rs4,500.
