Plus, exterior and interior style both benefited appreciably from the recent redesign. For buyers more concerned with the feature-to-price ratio than horsepower-to-weight, the Sentra makes sense. Expert Tip: While more expensive hybrids like the Toyota Prius deliver better fuel economy, it's the Sentra's combination of a reasonable price and decent fuel economy that makes it a value play. When we drove the 2026 Sentra, we were impressed by its composed ride and playful handling, but were disappointed by its lackluster powertrain.
